WI-UM Kiwanis Division 8

New Lt. Governor

Hi, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you.  My name is Fitz Fitzpatrick and I was elected the new Division 8 Lt. Governor at the convention in Fond Du Lac this past weekend.  I am a member of the New Holstein Club, and recently purchased a home in Kiel. Some of you may know me as I am also a Past WI-UM Kiwanis Governor from 2006-2007.  This will be my 10th time serving as an LTG. I have a real passion for Kiwanis and have been part of the Kiwanis family since 1986. I am attaching my Kiwanis resume for you.  I look forward to working with the clubs this year. Let me know how I can help! If you would like for me to attend your  installation of Officers, let me know as soon as possible.  I love to visit clubs, not only meetings but also your events.

Dues Increase

Beginning October 1, 2022 the  WI-UM Kiwanis District Dues will increase by $10; from $33 to $43 dollars.The increase was necessary to keep providing a high level of service to our members and clubs. The last dues increase was back in 2017. Please let me know if you have any questions about this change.

Division Council Meetings

I would like to bring back Division Council Meetings to Division 8. Ideally I would like to have these at least quarterly. Since, I believe, most are comfortable with Zoom I expect that most will be held online. The first one will be the end of October or early November.

Newsletters

If your club publishes a new letter to your members could you please make sure I receive a copy. It’s a great way for me to stay up to date with the happenings of your club.

I will be sending out these newsletters on a monthly basis to the clubs in the Division. If there is something you want the other clubs to know, just send it to me and I will include it. I am looking forward to this year, and will see you all soon!
